ox alpha is insane

Ox Alpha has been released for free on OpenRouter. People are saying it’s a Chinese model, but it’s honestly much more impressive than I expected. I’ve been using it to analyze data first, then build out the code and design a dashboard around it, and the quality of the results is surprisingly high. I’ve even seen people say it’s better than Fable 5. This model feels kind of scary. For now, I’m going to throw a few of my most complex tasks at it. I’ll run the exact same tasks that took about two hours with GPT-5.6 Sol Ultracode and nearly two hours with Fable 5, then compare the final results. I’m really curious to see just how capable this model actually is.
