Curated playlists and sleep schedules can be configured for kids using the Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard, which is available as a standalone iOS/Android mobile app and a[dedicated website](https://parents.amazon.com/intro)\. A half\-hour wind\-down routine will be automatically triggered on Echo devices 30 minutes before a child’s scheduled bedtime, but kids can also start it themselves anytime they’re feeling sleepy by saying “Alexa, play Sleep Studio\.” The[Echo Glow](https://www.amazon.com/Echo-Glow/dp/B07KRY43KN/ref=sr_1_1??tag=theverge02-20), which[doubles as a night light](https://www.theverge.com/2019/9/25/20883766/amazon-echo-glow-kids-lamp-speaker-features-specs-price-alexa), will also illuminate with color\-coded lights so kids can see when they should be dozing and when it’s time to get out of bed\.
The soothing content available through Sleep Studio comes from platforms including Headspace, Moshi, and Calm\. “A good night’s sleep is important for a healthy, rested mind for everyone\.
