I think @latepostnews’s reporting is indisputably the best in the Chinese media space — whether it’s the earlier DeepSeek interview, Top Seed, or this latest narrative around “big packages.”
They’re just incredibly bold with their writing. Outlets like 新智元 / 量子位 can’t even compete, and 机器之心 is now basically just distilling a few tweets on X (yes, I appeared on 机器之心 again today). Sure, everyone’s essentially hyping things up, but @latepostnews uses the most real and surreal facts to forcefully shatter your information asymmetry.
Their interviews are also unique — I can tell they’ve put a ton of effort into them. Their editors truly know how to make something blow up. Right now, the best media in the Chinese-speaking world are @qingke_ai and @latepostnews. As for 机器之心, it’s notorious for charging tens of thousands of yuan per article — what a world.
晚点 LatePost (@latepostnews): A 17-year-old AI intern earns 5,500 yuan per day; those born in 1998 are already considered “mid-career.”
Among AI professionals born after 2000, most prefer anime or cartoon characters as their avatars, are used to expressing themselves with emojis and exclamation marks, and order a cup of cotton candy hot chocolate amid a flurry of iced Americanos during work breaks.
Before meeting a post-2000 AI entrepreneur, an investor reminded us that the fastest way to build rapport was to bring him two cups of milk tea.

@isituking: A few days ago I published a list of the top 100 global AI bloggers, and many people asked: is there one for the Chinese community? This time I did an in-depth survey of hundreds of Chinese X bloggers, verifying their work one by one. I originally intended to keep only 100 people, but everyone was just too outstanding, so in the end I kept 120. Covering AI, open source, going global, development, and investment...

@Suu766: AI content is growing more and more, but there are actually not many bloggers worth following long-term who consistently produce high-quality content. @dongxi_nlp: In the past two weeks, after deliberately disconnecting from the Chinese information flow and only writing and browsing English tweets, I found that the issues ordinary people in the Chinese and English AI circles focus on roughly show two different patterns: Chinese tweets: DeepSeek is awesome, English tweets: DGX Spark is awesome. It is predicted that a global fusion will soon occur: DGX Spark + Dee…
The author observes that the Chinese AI community focuses on DeepSeek, the English AI community focuses on DGX Spark, and predicts that the two will merge.
