All three trace their funding to the same source — the Survival and Flourishing Fund (Jaan Tallinn's money, an Anthropic investor and board observer). Coxon himself had a 2022 fellowship funded by Dustin Moskovitz's Good Ventures. Same broader funding network on both ends. The political reaction rules out a simple partisan-op read: Sanders (D-aligned) cited Coxon directly for pause legislation, while David Sacks — Trump's AI policy lead, not a Democrat — is the one publicly calling the whole thing a coordinated campaign. (Hawley and Blumenthal both sent letters within a day of Coxon's post, but on checking, those were addressed to July's separate OpenAI-Hugging Face breach, not Coxon — media linked the two, the letters themselves don't.)
