LEAP: Learned Block-wise Evidence Retrieval for Long Audio-Video Perception
Summary
LEAP introduces a block-wise evidence retrieval framework for hour-scale audio-visual question answering that decouples localization from reasoning, keeping context independent of recording duration and improving over Qwen3-Omni-30B-A3B by 4.5-16.8% while transferring to MiniCPM-o4.5.
