Interactions Beyond the Screen: Sensors, Robots, and Physical AI
AI is moving beyond chat windows, copilots, and screen-based experiences. As systems begin to perceive, reason about, and act in the physical world through sensors, cameras, robots, autonomous machines, and spatial computing, our idea of an “interface” is starting to change. In this talk, we’ll demystify Physical AI: what it is, why it matters, and how it differs from the AI experiences many of us interact with today. We’ll look at the core concepts behind Physical AI — perception, sensors, simulation, robotics, real-time feedback, and multimodal interaction. More importantly, we’ll explore what Physical AI could mean for the future of human-computer interaction. When AI understands physical context, responds to movement, collaborates through embodied systems, or becomes part of our environment, interfaces are no longer limited to screens. They become spatial, adaptive, ambient, and deeply connected to the world around us.

Laravel APIs That Frontend Devs Actually Want to Use
Frontend developers shouldn’t have to fight their APIs. But too often they do. Over-fetching bloats responses and kills performance. Inconsistent error formats break optimistic update logic. Token auth feels like guesswork. Real-time features require increasingly complex workarounds. The API technically “works” - but it doesn’t help anyone build something great. After years of building and consuming Laravel APIs, I’ve learned what frontend developers actually need but rarely think to ask for. This talk is that conversation.

How I Build Web Applications in 2026
I’ve never had so much fun developing software than I have in the last few months. And I’m going to show you why. In this talk, I’ll share my favorite workflows for building a web application using AI with modern tools. By the end of the experience, we’ll have a real-world application that we built using AI along with deep full-stack web expertise. And you’ll leave with ideas of ways to integrate your web expertise with the power of AI to build excellent user experiences for the web.

Modern front-end without an API: an introduction to Inertia.js
Building a modern single-page application usually means building two separate projects: a backend API and a frontend SPA. Inertia.js takes a different approach. It connects your server-side framework directly to your frontend components, so you can use regular routing and controllers without writing a single API endpoint.

Pascal Baljet
AI UX is just CMS design all over again
Frontend development usually works with deterministic systems: defined state, predictable outputs, controlled inputs. AI breaks that model by introducing ambiguity and non-determinism into every day interfaces. This isn’t new! CMSs have handled these challenges for years through rich data models, extensible schemas, and dynamic UIs that adopt to loosely structured input. AI interfaces now face the same challenge, but often without the systems to support it. This talk connects existing CMS architecture patterns to AI-native frontend development, showing how flexible data modeling and adaptive interfaces lead to more reliable and interpretable AI-driven frontends.

Future of Web Accessibility: New Approaches, New Tools, New Opportunities
What is the next leap in accessibility? Is it better standards or AI-enhanced interfaces that can adapt, explain, and respond to individual needs? In this session, Maria explores emerging browser APIs, modern HTML and CSS capabilities, and the next generation of accessibility features shaping the web. From ARIA Notify and the Accessibility Object Model to AI-assisted testing, the talk highlights how experimental technologies can create interfaces that are clearer, more resilient, and more adaptable for everyone.
