Previously, I would ask Claude Code to search for something online, but the Twitter API costs money, web scraping requires subscriptions, and Bilibili and Xiaohongshu directly block you. Every platform has its own barrier — such a hassle. Agent-Reach, a free and open-source repository, unlocks all 14 of these platforms with a single command. I installed it and gave it a try. I asked the agent to search for the comments on any Xiaohongshu post and summarize them. It summarized them in ten seconds. I was stunned — it was both fast and accurate. To be fair, agents can write code and modify documents, but searching the internet has always been a bottleneck. Agent-Reach does just one thing: it handles all the selection and configuration for you. It uses yt-dlp to extract subtitles, twitter-cli to search posts, and xhs-cli to scrape Xiaohongshu.
