I hate how we've been conditioned into assuming something is AI now

Summary

The article expresses frustration that people are increasingly suspicious of all content being AI-generated due to AI's prevalence, leading to constant vigilance and difficulty in identifying real versus synthetic media.

This is mostly just a rant, but I feel like everyone is so on guard nowadays for things to be AI. Any art, videos, writing, anything, people are just like "Oh, that's AI" because we've been conditioned to expect it. Even if it's literally just a photograph. I just saw a photo of a HOT DOG and instantly went, why would they use AI to generate a photo of a hot dog? It was a real goddamn hot dog. And I've found myself and my peers always thinking this way because AI has been shoved down our throats in so many aspects of our lives, and I don't like how we always have to be on guard. I also hate that we kind of have to make educated guesses about if something is AI or not because a lot of AI models have been getting so advanced that while it used to be easy to tell, people are really getting fooled and that's why we're always on guard.
