OpenClaw v2026.9.9 is available on stable as a patch release, with new model support and fixes for several problems that could interrupt everyday use. Highlights: GPT-6.1 Sol appears in the Codex model list. Using it requires an eligible account and a compatible Codex setup. Claude Haiku 5.5 is supported through the Anthropic API and Claude CLI. The haiku alias now selects 5.5, with adaptive thinking enabled by default. Better recovery after failed updates, plus fixes for false maintenance warnings and several Windows, Docker, and package-manager update failures. Missing iMessage replies are fixed. OpenClaw could finish an answer without actually sending it. An old scheduled job timing out no longer interrupts a newer conversation in the same session. Chat scrolling fixes help preserve your reading position while browsing earlier messages and keep following replies when you're at the bottom. Before updating: September stable upgrades retain the shared data format used by 2026.9.8. If an October beta has already converted your data to its newer format, 9.9 cannot open, downgrade, or repair it. One remaining scheduling caveat: interrupted one-shot jobs can run again after a restart, even if their first message arrived, so duplicate delivery is still possible. This release includes 112 PRs and 69 direct commits from 90 contributors. Thank you to everyone who contributed fixes, reports, testing, and investigation. Full release notes
