Bro wake up. The Obsidian CEO just open-sourced his private Claude Code skills.
Five markdown files, built for himself, tested in his own vault first. 41K stars and counting.
No plugin store, no account. Drop the folder into .claude/skills/ and Claude picks them up automatically.
The real lesson is the number. FIVE. Each one fixes a real failure mode in his actual workflow.
Meanwhile most builders are hoarding 300-skill libraries that make Claude dumber. Skills compete for a documented context limit. Install everything and nothing triggers right.
Small stack, load-bearing skills only. That’s the whole game.
