What is an AutoGPT Expert?An Expert is an AI specialist you can work with directly. Each has a role, instructions, skills, and workflows for a particular kind of work. Hire a ready-made expert or create your own, then give it the context and app access it needs.

What does Otto do?Otto is your Head of AI: the generalist at the head of your team. Tell it what you want done, ask it to involve the right expert, or catch up on the team’s work. You can also talk directly to any expert.

Do I need to build a workflow first?No. Start with a conversation and a ready-made expert. Experts can use skills and workflows to carry out the work you give them. The visual builder is available when you want to define the steps yourself.

Can experts work on a schedule?Yes. Set up a routine or scheduled workflow for recurring work. Your expert may need details, connected services, and your instructions before it can run. You can review the work and adjust or pause its schedules.

What do I control?You choose an expert’s instructions, the connected accounts it can use, and the workflows installed on it. You can set expert spending controls, review results and requests, and change or pause scheduled work. AI output still needs your judgment.

Does hiring an expert cost extra?Hiring an Expert has no separate hiring charge. Pro costs $50/month and covers Otto and Expert chat. Workflow runs draw on your credit wallet on every plan, and you can set spending controls for each Expert. Annual Pro billing is $510/year, equivalent to $42.50/month.

How does the free trial work?Eligible new accounts can try Pro free for 7 days. A card is required, with no subscription charge today. After the trial, monthly Pro is $50/month.
