🤔 What Is Muse?

Muse is a personal AI Agent recently released by Meta.

Unlike regular chatbots, it doesn’t just answer questions — it actually completes tasks for you.

According to the official description, Muse has its own computer (file system + terminal) and a full browser, capable of:

• Searching, browsing the web, filling out forms, and submitting them
• Generating documents, tables, webpages, and other files
• Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, even continuing in the background after the app is closed
• Confirming with you before making payments, sending messages, or other critical actions

Tasks like registering accounts step-by-step are exactly what it’s designed for.

📋 Prerequisites

• A Muse account (web, desktop, or mobile app — this guide uses the Mac desktop version)
• An email that hasn’t been used to register Claude, able to receive emails normally
• A network environment that can access claude.ai

⚠️ Muse is initially available in the US, supporting iOS, Android, and web. Check the registration page to see if your account is currently eligible.

🚨 However, testing shows it’s now fully open — possibly during a gradual rollout.

🔧 Step 1: Log into Muse

Open muse.ai or the desktop app, log in as instructed, and give your Muse a name and profile picture.

Mine is called Jarvis😄

💡 For first-time users, it’s recommended to send a collaboration rule upfront — Muse will remember it:

I am a Chinese-speaking user, timezone Asia/Shanghai (UTC+8).
Before submitting forms, placing orders, making payments, or modifying account settings, inform me first and wait for my approval before proceeding.

🎯 Step 2: Assign the Task in One Sentence

In the chat box, simply say:

textOpen the Claude website and help me register an account.

That’s exactly what I said in the screen recording. Muse will open a browser on the right and navigate to claude.ai to check the registration process.

💡 For more control, you can specify the requirements upfront to avoid unexpected choices:

Please help me register a personal Claude account.
Registration URL: https://claude.ai/login
Use this email: [enter your email]

Select the free plan by default; do not purchase any subscriptions.
Stop and ask me when encountering verification, terms, or privacy options — wait for my confirmation before continuing.
After completion, inform me of the final plan and privacy settings.

💬 Step 3: Answer When It Asks

From here, you just wait — Muse will come to you with questions. In testing, it asked the following:

• Which email to use? Send the email address; it will fill it in and click Continue with email.

• Verification link/code from email: Find the email from Anthropic, copy the login link or code, and send it to Muse. Alternatively, click the link yourself to verify, then tell Muse “Verification done, continue.”

• How to handle CAPTCHA? When hCaptcha pops up (e.g., “Click all objects made of fabric” in a 3×3 grid), it will ask whether to authorize it to click or if you want to take over. I let it click — and it passed on the first try✌🏻

• Agree to terms? The page shows consumer terms, usage policy, and age confirmation. Review them and let it click Create account.

• Personal or team use? Reply “personal.”

• Which plan? Reply “Free” — the $0 tier is enough to start.

• Turn off data training? “Allow chat data to be used for model training” is on by default. Muse will suggest turning it off — respond based on your preference.

• What name to enter? Any nickname will do.

💡 To see what it’s doing in real time, click “Open Browser.” To take over control, click “Control Browser.” Click “Stop” to pause it.

🚨 If it fails the CAPTCHA repeatedly, don’t let it keep refreshing — take over and complete it yourself, then tell it “CAPTCHA passed, continue from the current page.” Frequent refreshes may trigger stricter security measures.

✅ Step 4: Verification

Finally, send it this message:

It will send a message to the new Claude account: “Hello, please briefly introduce yourself.”

If you see Welcome, xxx! I’m Claude, and Claude responds normally, the account registration is successful👏🏻

After registration, quickly check:

• Bottom left shows Free — no unintended subscriptions enabled.
• Data training toggle is set as you prefer.
• If you temporarily connected your email to Muse, you can disconnect it later in Muse’s Settings.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Muse keeps explaining but doesn’t open the webpage?

Add a clear instruction: “Now open the Claude registration page and start the process. When I need to intervene, tell me exactly what to do.”

Q: Can’t receive Claude verification emails?

Check the spam folder first, then confirm the email address was entered correctly. Links and codes expire — if expired, go back to the page and resend. Avoid using disposable temporary emails, as they are often blocked.

Q: Don’t know what step Muse is on?

Click its profile picture to view activity logs. Or simply ask: “What step are you on now? Are you stuck? What do I need to provide?”

Q: Want to change the data training setting after registration?

Go to Claude’s Settings → Privacy to adjust it.

Q: Can Muse register multiple accounts at once?

Not recommended. Bulk registration violates Claude’s terms of service and may lead to account bans due to security checks. Just register one for personal use.

These are just suggestions — you don’t have to follow them😄

Actually, you can use domain emails (via Cloudflare) for bulk registration! Figure it out yourself, but keep it low-key😄

🚨 Login links and verification codes are your account keys — only send them to your own Muse, and don’t paste them elsewhere. Before sharing screen recordings or screenshots, remember to blur out your email and login links.
