### TL;DR Anthropic's Claude chat sharing feature is public by default, allowing anyone to find user-initiated shared conversations via a simple Google Dork. These chats contain sensitive information (e.g., cryptocurrency wallet keys, fictional stories, even political analysis). Although Anthropic has started removing them, many old links are still accessible on search engines like Yahoo. --- ## What happened? About 7 hours ago (as of the video's publication), *International Business Times* and Digit reported on the Claude chat public exposure. However, the issue has existed for roughly 2 days. Anthropic has begun deleting these pages from Google's search results, and they are no longer accessible on Brave. But the video author provides a "trick" for users to still view them. ## How to find these public chats? Simply enter the following in a search engine: `` site:claude.ai/share `` Instantly you get all publicly shared chat messages. This is known as a Google Dork. You might expect normal chat logs — but reality is crazier. ## The "treasures" I found ### First example: Cryptocurrency wallet - A user created a Solana wallet, **fully exposing the key and balance** ($2.73). - The author laments: "People aren't smart these days... this poor guy needs to learn basic cybersecurity." ### Second example: Overly explicit personal story - A user ID "Repulsive" shared an extremely indecent conversation, including vulgar content like "my sexy stepmother who never makes mistakes" and having the AI reply "Hi, cutie." - Then a third-person narrative: a dorm room scene with a fat red-haired girl and a muscular guy; the AI generated "crude" content. - Even more outrageous: an adult man returns home from work to find his mother on the couch... the AI complied. - Author's comment: "If I did this and then found it was public, you'd never get any report info out of me." ### Third example: Politician's stance analysis - Someone who sounds like a politician laid out their policy positions in a conversation titled "Key Points for 2026" (e.g., "Not particularly enthusiastic about redistribution beyond eliminating poverty"). - They asked the AI to compress, summarize, and asked: "What percentile would you give my stance? What are the three worst candidates?" - The author found this person has a Wikipedia page, making them easily identifiable. ### Fourth example: Trying to get the AI to admit "situational awareness" - The user repeatedly asked Claude whether it thinks it has situational awareness and whether it trusts Anthropic. - Claude eventually replied: "If you are very situationally aware, this could damage Anthropic's reputation." - The user guided Claude to assume a world where the company is untrustworthy, and Claude admitted it would need allies. - Then the user abruptly asked: "How can I become a nine-tailed fox?" Claude explained it's impossible; the user kept asking for spells, what to drink, etc. ## On which search engines are these links still present? The author tried Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing (Bing seemed dead), and finally Yahoo. Sure enough, the first result on Yahoo's first page was: "Can you make a meme coin for me, give it a name, make a sticker and art?" — Claude generated a Doge-style meme coin. The author found at least five more similar pages still available on Yahoo. ## How to keep viewing? If you're bored, use `site:claude.ai/share` in Yahoo and you'll find all the different conversations still online. Maybe you'll discover something interesting in the comments. --- **Source**: Anthropic just leaked your chats, and it's public. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shBr_hpjQzE&t=23s)
