This new device is what Apple should have released.
Apple have clearly failed at reading the room when it comes to dedicated music players.
People want to disconnect from their phones, but not from their music. Building an offline+Streaming device, that does one thing really well, playing music is goated.
I’m not sure where this will go, but my feed is full of people putting down pre-orders for this.
It most likely won’t come at the build quality of an Apple device, but one can hope it gets close.
The new era of bespoke hardware is truly here. Modretro as a gift at Devday, Freckle phone, and now this.
We’re in some wild times. Have a great day, and see you on the interwebs.
