In short, I want to use English to learn topics I’m interested in. In the classroom, I was always studying English for exams, memorizing words I could never remember, and reading articles that were boring even when translated into Chinese. After finishing all the English courses in school, I started looking for ways to combine English learning with entertainment and skill acquisition. For example, reading interesting English books is a great method. But inspired by bloggers like Tinyfool (https://www.youtube.com/@tinyEnglish) and Steve Kaufmann (https://www.youtube.com/@Thelinguist), I realized that watching large amounts of videos made by native speakers might be a better way to learn English. So I developed this English video player. I’ve used it to watch thousands of hours of videos. With its help, my English level has become good enough to learn various knowledge through English without difficulty. To help more friends like me who want to improve their English, I decided to open-source this player. Hope it helps you too! ## Main Features DashPlayer’s goal is to make it easy for you to watch English videos.
