These are probably the four most important skills for engineers right now:
1. Choose and shape the right model for a task 2. Design evals that reflect how the system would be used 3. Serve a model under latency, cost, and quality constraints 4. Route requests and define policies across the system
These skills are at the heart of what we are now calling “specialized intelligence”, and Forge ’26 is a great opportunity to learn about them.
Forge ’26 is @FireworksAI_HQ’s flagship conference for specialized intelligence, and it’s just coming up in a couple of months.
