Using Cursor with Claude is getting more and more of a hassle now.
The new X Subscription’s $8 tier can’t use third-party models at all, while $30 and above can but you have to top up separately at API rates, and the shared quota is only for Grok.
This brings us inevitably to Devin.
With Opus, GPT, Gemini, Cognition’s own SWE, and open-source models like DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, you can select them directly, and new models are basically available within minutes of release.
Just a few days ago, it even started supporting connections to ChatGPT’s Go, Plus, and Pro subscriptions, with GPT usage directly deducted from your ChatGPT plan quota—no need to pay extra at API rates.
No being tied to a single model—it’s way too friendly for someone like me who mixes Claude and GPT.
KC (@ScarletKc): Claude
