When do you think we’ll get physical AGI?

Summary

A discussion questioning the timeline for achieving physical AGI, contrasting it with digital AGI expectations, and mentioning Elon Musk's Optimus robot in the context of future healthcare affordability.

By physical AGI, I mean being able to do any physical task that humans can do. I think we’ll get digital AGI by 2027–2029, but robotics progress seems kind of slow. We still don’t even have household robots. Honestly, Musk was saying that by 2029, Optimus would be better than the best surgeon. Huh, I kind of hope that happens so medical care becomes more affordable, but robotics progress doesn’t seem very impressive, at least not yet. The only thing I’ve seen is them doing household chores, but they do them very slowly, and they’re very expensive. I seriously wonder when we’ll get physical AGI.
