I’ve recently been experimenting with Seedance 2.5 to create AIGC content, but character motion fluidity has been a constant headache. I keep running into a few common problems:
- Spatial orientation easily gets confused 2. Overall coherence is lost after camera cuts 3. Characters and props tend to drift around
Just as I was scratching my head, I stumbled upon an open-source AI action series called Zephyr: Special, which has been incredibly helpful in solving these issues. The series is valued at $1,000,000 in total and racked up millions of views within hours of release — and now Higgsfield has open-sourced it.
After carefully studying its prompts, I found the key to crafting great character motion lies in:

Establish the space first. Where the character enters from, which direction they’re facing, where they’re moving, and which side of the character the camera is on — all of this needs to be locked in before the action happens.

Camera cuts need to pass the baton. Every cut should build on the existing state and move forward from there, so the character and action connect naturally. For example: if the previous shot had the character raising their right hand, the weapon landing in a certain spot, or the body stopping in a specific pose, the next shot needs to continue from that.

Characters, props, and camera must follow the same system of motion relationships. For instance: when a character lunges forward, their clothes, hair, and handheld props all need to follow the body’s momentum; when the camera moves, the distance between the background and the character needs to shift in sync.
I strongly recommend that anyone working on AIGC dig into the prompts of this open-source project. The video below is one of the action sequences from it — pretty mind-blowing, right? The fluidity of the motion, the fight choreography, and the level of detail are all dialed to the max.
