WHAT THIS IS7

Everything needed to clear the coding round: complexity, every core data structure, every algorithm family, the 35 patterns that cover most problems, curated problem sheets, and the platforms to practise on. DSA is the gate to almost every technical role, whatever stack you end up working in.8

HOW TO USE IT10

1. Open ‘Roadmap’ first. It sequences 52 weeks into phases with a problem target and a milestone for each.11

2. Use ‘Skills Matrix’ as your checklist. Filter by Level to separate Foundation from Core from Advanced.12

3. ‘Patterns’ is the most important sheet here. Learn 35 patterns, not 500 problems. It maps each pattern to the words that signal it in a problem statement.13

4. Pick ONE sheet from ‘Problem Sheets’ and finish it. Starting three sheets and finishing none is the most common failure.14

5. ‘Practice Platforms’ is where the reps happen. ‘Interview Prep’ and ‘Companies Hiring’ are for the final phase.15

THE HONEST ADVICE

Consistency beats intensity. Two problems a day for a year beats twenty problems in one weekend and nothing for a month.18

Do not read solutions after five minutes. Sit with a problem for 30-45 minutes before looking. The struggle is the learning; skipping it feels productive and teaches nothing.19

Re-solve every problem you needed a hint for, one week later. If you cannot solve it unaided the second time, you did not learn it the first time.20

Solving 500 problems without recognising patterns is worse than solving 150 with pattern awareness. Quality of reflection beats volume.21

Write code that compiles. A correct approach with syntax errors under pressure still loses offers. Practise without an IDE sometimes.22

Talk out loud while you solve. Interviewers assess your process, not just your answer. Silence reads as being stuck.23
