Recruiting online is about to change, and I won’t ever want to read or send a résumé in my life!
I went through @meetdexai’s interview process for testing purposes. It’s a new AI talent agent for engineers, and I don’t want to speak to a recruiter ever again.
If you are job hunting, you should give this a try.
The questions it asked me were the ones everyone should be asking:
• What problems do I want to spend my time on • How big a team do I prefer to work with • What a good week would look like for me • …
We all know résumés suck, and they are a poor representation of what you are capable of.
This is something very different:
Here, Dex builds a profile from a conversation with you. You can just speak to it (voice) or chat if you prefer. The AI will guide you through all the questions and build a profile it uses to show you jobs that match what you want.
You sign up with LinkedIn. You don’t need to send a résumé. My interview took about 10 minutes.
From here, you get the list of roles that match, including salaries. You get a direct introduction to the hiring manager, with no other recruiter in the middle.
This is all free for candidates. Companies only pay when you get hired.
