This is so darn smart: use Obsidian at your company, for corporate work without worrying about breaking the license by not paying when you start.
When a bunch of folks start using it (it spreads) the company can get a license.
VC-funded companies could/would never do this!!
kepano (@kepano): Previously companies were required to buy a commercial license per seat, but this wasn’t enforceable since Obsidian has no required signup. We know anecdotally that tech companies had in aggregate tens of thousands of employees out of compliance.
