Your meeting data should not have to leave your infrastructure before it becomes useful.
Vexa is an open-source, self-hosted meeting bot and transcription API for developers and teams building their own meeting workflows.
It helps you capture live conversations and turn them into owned knowledge by joining calls, streaming speaker-attributed transcripts, and compiling meeting context into Markdown files in a git workspace.
Key features: • Meeting bots – join Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom calls as a participant • Live transcripts – fetch speaker-attributed text through the API while a call is running • Owned workspace – store meeting knowledge as portable, diffable Markdown in git • Sandboxed agents – process workspace context in isolated, ephemeral containers • Flexible deployment – run the stack with Docker or deploy it through Helm on Kubernetes
It’s open-source (Apache-2.0 license).
