Earlier this month Graphene[confirmed](https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS/117078064184215730)that its initial Motorola devices would be flagships that would “be higher end hardware than Pixels at a higher price\.” More affordable devices are on the roadmap, but would require better security features from Qualcomm for its cheaper chips, and for Motorola to invest in seven years of software support for those phones —[this year’s $499\.99 Moto G Stylus](https://www.theverge.com/tech/917497/motorola-moto-g-stylus-2026-review)only promised two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates\. Motorola[first announced](https://www.theverge.com/gadgets/887769/grapheneos-and-motorola-collaboration-could-lead-to-more-secure-smartphone-options)its collaboration with Graphene in March, saying that the two organizations would “work to strengthen smartphone security\.” Until now, Graphene has only officially supported Google’s Pixel phones\. That support is ongoing, and the organization confirmed it has plans to add support for the[Pixel 11 series](https://www.theverge.com/tech/978013/google-pixel-11-series-hands-on-hardware-software)in the future\.
