1/ After AI, the rules of the game for entrepreneurship have changed.
Product development and online customer acquisition are rapidly becoming commoditized, and the advantages once built on software capabilities are increasingly easy to replicate.
Entrepreneurs are being pushed toward harder territories: Deep Tech, Physical AI, and work that AI cannot yet automate 👇
4/ The next batch of outstanding founders might be those willing to go door-to-door selling.
They can find the first 100 customers through unconventional means and also build hard-to-replicate technology with their own hands.
Being able to make a product is just the starting point; being able to truly sell the product is once again becoming a core capability.
5/ This is somewhat like going back to the early days of the computer industry in the 1980s–1990s.
Back then, founders had to get their hands directly on chips and hardware, and then complete sales through door-to-door pitching, product catalogs, personal connections, and offline networks.
AI is pushing the software world toward automation, but it might make entrepreneurship become more “physical” and direct again, and more reliant on trust between people.
Here are some rumors that someone has heard. First about Google, then about Anthropic and OpenAI.
Google: Insiders say that Google has either already achieved RSI (recursive self-improvement) or is very close. In the past few months, their progress has clearly accelerated, jumping from GPT-5 level to Opus 5.5 level in just a few months. There’s speculation that RSI was the key to achieving this leap.
Anthropic: About a week ago, Anthropic launched a new round of pre-training. This isn’t Fable 5.5, but a project that could become Fable 6, or even a stronger model in the future, aimed at catching up to OpenAI’s Bel.
OpenAI: Bel (or possibly another codename) is the model behind OpenAI’s mathematical research breakthrough announced a few days ago, and it’s said that RSI played a role in it as well.
Based on what he’s heard, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google are all very close to achieving RSI, or may have already done so.
The next developments will be both frightening and exciting.
