FAQ

Can it export editable PPTX?

Yes. While PPT cannot have all HTML capabilities, we strive to retain editability.

How many tokens does generating one set of PPT consume?

In testing, a 10-page PPT consumes about 100,000 tokens (fluctuating with document length and number of revision passes). Roughly estimated against the Codex 5-hour quota window, it’s enough to generate about 10 sets.

Can I customize xxx?

Currently, custom styling is limited to specific ranges. This is intentional: stable output is more important than free color selection.

Does it require internet access? Are my contents safe?

Content-wise, zero uploading: your documents and PPT contents are not sent to any server; generation, editing, and export happen locally. The output is offline-accessible. Only two things require internet: the initial npm dependency installation, and a silent version check after task completion (fetches only the latest version number, no content uploaded). Additionally, the local preview server is accessible within the same LAN by default for browsing only, and the export interface is open only to the local machine.

Cannot export PPTX?

Exporting PPTX/PDF requires Chrome, Chromium, or Edge installed locally (you can specify via the CHROME_PATH environment variable).
