Shipping today: Nano Banana 2 Lite (GA) and Gemini Omni Flash API (preview).
Nano Banana 2 Lite (gemini-3.1-flash-lite-image) generates images in ~4 seconds at $0.034. Omni Flash generates and edits video through conversation at $0.10/sec up to 10s videos (same price as Veo 3.1 Fast.).
Omni Flash (gemini-omni-flash-preview) combines Gemini’s world knowledge (physics, history, cultural context) and is our first model shipped natively for the Interactions API. You get real multi-turn video editing. “Make it sunset.” “Add rain.” “Swap the product.”
The API keeps your session context, so each edit builds on the last (up to 3 sequential edits per session).
