Just came up with a super interesting use case for Grok Bot, that you can’t do with a regular chatbot. Give one bot a single job: be the long-term memory of my house You can photograph every appliance sticker, breaker panel, filter size, paint can, spare-key hiding spot, and the inside of the junk drawer, which common, we all have at least one junk drawer right!?! It then files serial numbers, model numbers, bulb types, and “last replaced on” dates. Grok bot can then watch yourr email for warranties, utility PDFs, HOA notices, etc.. Doesn’t need to use a ton of tokens, can just run monthly something that checks things like: what expires in 60 days, what filter need to be replaced, which portal login looks different than last month, which city/HOA agenda item affects this address… Then when something breaks, you send one photo. Grok bot identifies the exact unit, pulls the manufacturer PDF, finds the part, and writes a one-page card: tools you already own, the YouTube vid that matches your model, and whether this is a $12 gasket or a call-a-human job. And the kinda cool thing here is, if you sell the house to someone else, it can generate a pretty kick ass doc for the new owner. Chatbots don’t have a memory system today to keep track of stuff like this for years. Sine Grok Bot is running each bot on its own cloud computer this should be a cool use case.
