ChatGPT Dots is basically an upgraded OpenClaw?

So OpenAI dropped Dots at DevDay yesterday. If you missed it, it's an always on agent running on GPT-6 Astra, it gets its own cloud computer and browser, connects to your apps and you can talk to it from ChatGPT, Slack or Teams. and it just keeps working in the background even when you close the chat. first thing i thought when i read the announcement was "wait this is OpenClaw". like the same idea, just upgraded and polished for normal people who don't want to touch a terminal. and honestly i don't mean that in a bad way. OpenClaw kinda proved that a 24/7 personal agent actually works, and now the big labs are building their own versions of it. thats a win for the open source folks imo. Kimi also did this already with Kimi Claw a while back. one click cloud deploy, no VPS stuff, it has memory, runs scheduled tasks when you're offline, cloud storage, a big skill marketplace, and you can hook it up to Telegram. so the concept isnt new at all. where Dots might actually be better is the model. if GPT-6 Astra makes long running tasks more reliable (which is where most of these agents fall apart tbh) then thats a real upgrade. plus it's baked right into ChatGPT so zero setup, and theres some Microsoft Agent 365 thing for companies too. downside is its Pro / Business Premium only for now, and not in EU/UK for Pro. and you're locked into OpenAI, where OpenClaw is open source and works with whatever model you want. Kimi Claw is cheaper too. so yeah i see it less as "openai copied something" and more like the OpenClaw idea finally going mainstream. anyone who's used Kimi Claw or self hosted OpenClaw, what would Dots need to do for you to actually switch? and if you're on Pro and get access this week pls share how it goes, curious if it's actually good or just nice marketing !
