Oh my God! This case study of the AI classroom is absolutely badass!
Netizen @internetphysics used fal’s H3 Max to create a generative video classroom.
You can directly ask about any concept, and a few seconds later, an AI teacher starts explaining it to you using animations, voice, and scenes.
If you don’t understand, you can keep asking follow-up questions, and the subsequent lessons will generate based on your queries.
The cool thing about this is that it finally puts three things together:
ChatGPT’s free-form questioning + Khan Academy’s teaching style + video models’ multimodal explanations.
ChatGPT has been able to act as a tutor for a long time, but a lot of knowledge is hard to explain clearly with just text.
For example, how an engine works, what’s happening inside a nuclear reactor, or what a math formula really means.
The best approach before was still to go to YouTube and find animations someone else had made in advance.
Now AI can directly take your question and perform it live on the spot.
And the courses are no longer fixed.
Wherever you get it, you move on; wherever you don’t, it regenerates in a different way. If you suddenly get interested in a certain detail, the whole lesson can immediately pivot to follow your question.
Your questions themselves can decide how the course grows.
This might be the real AI education product I’ve been looking forward to:
A personal tutor that combines ChatGPT, Khan Academy, and real-time multimodal generation capabilities.
In the future, the best courses won’t be pre-recorded at all.
