The metal shell is made from stainless steel, and it features a silicone rubber footpad on the bottom to help prevent it from sliding around on desktop surfaces\. It’s just shy of two inches tall, and weighs 108 grams \(roughly the same as a bar of soap\), so it would be pretty easy to accidentally nudge otherwise\. There’s also an LED light at the top of the stand that turns orange while your glasses are charging, and then green when fully charged\.

You can fully charge your Meta glasses in just over an hour, or quickly charge to 50 percent in about 20 minutes, according to Meta\. Unlike the portable charging case, this new stand option requires a constant USB\-C connection to charge, so it’s designed to live in a specific area of your home rather than something for on\-the\-go power\.
