Considering the ongoing RAM supply issues due to the explosion of AI data centers, the[rumored price hike](https://www.theverge.com/tech/962145/the-pixel-11-could-come-with-a-higher-price-tag)is not a complete surprise\. Companies from[Apple](https://www.theverge.com/tech/956903/apple-price-increase-2026-macbook-ipad-mac-home-vision-pro)to[Nintendo](https://www.theverge.com/games/926606/nintendo-switch-2-price-hikes-earnings-results),[Microsoft](https://www.theverge.com/games/957042/xbox-price-increase-memory-shortage)to[Roku](https://www.theverge.com/streaming/970814/roku-streaming-price-increase), have all raised their prices in response to the soaring cost of memory\. Barkat said that Google had “shielded our consumers from supply fluctuations for as long as possible,” but that the “economics have fundamentally shifted and we’re not immune to that\.” He went on to tell 9to5 that the Pixel lineup would see pricing “adjustments,” accordingly, that “will be rolled out dynamically to match supply realities\.” The base model Pixel 11 is expected to cost[$899](https://www.theverge.com/tech/964972/google-pixel-11-colors-rumor), but would come with 256GB of storage, instead of 128GB\.
