OpenAI has provided API credits and technical guidance to support the winning organizations and the dozens of others working to address global challenges\. To further support developers around the world, OpenAI also funded and[published⁠\(opens in a new window\)](https://huggingface.co/datasets/openai/MMMLU)a professional translation of the[Massive Multitask Language Understanding \(MMLU\) benchmark⁠\(opens in a new window\)](https://cdn.openai.com/o1-system-card.pdf), a measure of general AI intelligence, into 14 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Swahili, and Yoruba\. Supporting those who understand the unique cultures, economies, and social dynamics of their communities will help ensure that AI applications are tailored to meet local needs\. Developers and organizations are key to making artificial intelligence more widely accessible and enabling people around the world—regardless of where they live or what language they speak—to use the technology to solve hard problems\.
