Summary

Hermes Web UI v0.6.0 introduces enterprise-level multi-user management, account isolation, permission control, and other team collaboration features, upgrading the product from a single-user console to a team-level Agent workbench.

5.24 Today's Update: Hermes Web UI v0.6.0 "Enterprise Edition / Team Collaboration / Multi-User Management" What an enterprise-level Web UI truly needs: multi-user support, account boundaries, Profile isolation, permission consolidation, credential management, and traceable runtime status. In 0.6.0, capabilities like Sessions, Models, Usage, Kanban, Jobs, Uploads, Media, and Hermes APIs are all starting to be isolated by account and Profile. This means Hermes Web UI is no longer just a personal local Agent console; it is evolving toward a more team-usable, multi-user-managed direction with clearer permissions. The media skills are also becoming more enterprise-like: server tokens are now only used for media endpoints, and credentials like fun-codex / xAI are resolved from the current Profile to avoid mixing across different users and environments. Single chats and group chats will also automatically inject the current Hermes Profile, and skills can determine which identity they should run under via the X-Hermes-Profile header. Additionally, delegate_task subtask progress can now stream into the chat UI in real-time, with start, tool, progress, and completion all visible. This is crucial for enterprise scenarios because long-running tasks cannot be black boxes—they must be observable and traceable. There are also maintenance commands like stop/abort state cleanup, login IP lock cleanup, and default login reset, addressing common operational issues in enterprise environments. So I see v0.6.0 as a dividing line: 0.5.35 is the stable single-user version; Starting from 0.6.0, Hermes Web UI officially moves toward enterprise edition, multi-user, team-level Agent workbench. This video aims to explain this transition clearly.

5.24 Today’s Update: Hermes Web UI v0.6.0 — “Enterprise Edition / Team Collaboration / Multi-User Management”

What an enterprise-grade Web UI truly needs: multi-user support, account boundaries, Profile isolation, permission control, credential management, and traceable runtime status.

In v0.6.0, features like Sessions, Models, Usage, Kanban, Jobs, Uploads, Media, and Hermes APIs are now isolated by account and Profile.

This means Hermes Web UI is no longer just a personal local Agent console — it’s evolving toward a team-usable, multi-person managed, and more clearly permission-controlled direction.

Media skills have also become more enterprise-oriented: server tokens are now used only for media endpoints, and credentials like fun-codex / xAI are resolved from the current Profile, preventing mixing across different users and environments.

Both single and group chats automatically inject the current Hermes Profile. Skills can use X-Hermes-Profile to know which identity they should run under.

Additionally, delegate_task subtask progress now streams live into the chat UI — showing start, tool, progress, and complete events. This is crucial for enterprise scenarios because long-running tasks cannot be black boxes; they must be observable and traceable.

There are also maintenance commands for stop/abort state cleanup, login IP lock cleanup, and default login reset — covering common operational issues in enterprise environments.

So I view v0.6.0 as a dividing line:

  • 0.5.35 is the stable single-user version;
  • Starting with 0.6.0, Hermes Web UI officially moves toward an enterprise edition, multi-user, team-level Agent workspace.

This video is meant to clearly explain this shift.
