# Resigning from Arch Linux Source: [https://linderud.dev/blog/resigning-from-arch-linux/](https://linderud.dev/blog/resigning-from-arch-linux/) This is just a short note on my blog that I have resigned from Arch Linux a package maintainer, developer and security team\. I’ve spent around 10 years as an AUR maintainer, security team, Package Maintainer and then Developer\. I implemented support for debug packages, did the initial POC work that would become the git migration and even somehow managed to pull of an[online conference during](https://media.ccc.de/c/arch-conf-2020)The Plague with the help of others\. For fun, here is my Package Maintainer application \(formerly TU\) that was sent 9 years ago to the aur\-general list:[https://lists\.archlinux\.org/archives/list/aur\-general@lists\.archlinux\.org/thread/JQWKMMRV74EWK77YHOM4QAM2SVNV7GDZ/](https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/JQWKMMRV74EWK77YHOM4QAM2SVNV7GDZ/) Things are changing and it’s a good time to let go\. I still intend to continue working on my projects around TPMs, secure boot and platform security stuff\. The resignation email:[https://lists\.archlinux\.org/archives/list/arch\-dev\-public@lists\.archlinux\.org/thread/2AX2BCJ3EQX7G3YXSDX73BR4NCAWXXBZ/](https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/2AX2BCJ3EQX7G3YXSDX73BR4NCAWXXBZ/) [Back to posts](https://linderud.dev/blog/)
