@Pluvio9yte: I put a lot of effort into setting up a multi-account solution for Claude. Just figuring out how to register several Apple IDs took hours, but thankfully, it’s finally stable—no KYC prompts or account bans. I’ve written down what I learned, and following the steps should be quick. Full write-up below

The author shared a reliable setup for managing multiple Claude subscriptions: first, thoroughly clean up the local device environment flagged by risk controls; then subscribe on mobile using App Store gift cards to bypass KYC verification; and finally, use the open-source tool Magpie to link multiple Pro accounts and rotate between them.

I put a lot of effort into setting up this multi-account Claude solution. Just figuring out how to register several Apple IDs took hours. Thankfully, it’s finally stable: no KYC prompts and no account bans. I wrote down what I learned, and following the steps should be pretty quick. Full post below👇 https://t.co/0BZCjyYrjv

The Claude subscription setup that’s been stable for me so far

Disclaimer: I only figured out this approach over the last few days, after having six accounts banned in three days. I can’t promise you’ll never get banned, but I’ve been using it steadily for several days without any problems.

Since Claude Pro has the lowest level of risk screening, the approach comes down to three steps:

  1. How to clean up an environment previously flagged by risk controls
  2. How to subscribe to multiple Claude Pro accounts without triggering KYC
  3. How to link multiple Claude Pro accounts together

Cleaning up the environment

First, we can’t be sure whether the usage environment caused the ban, so once an account gets banned, it’s safer to clean up the entire environment. For the specific cleanup steps, see the post below. After backing up my MCP configuration and conversation history, I cleaned up everything else related to it.

Snow Treading on Dark Clouds @Pluvio9yte·Oct 29 If you’ve ever had a Claude account banned, make sure you use this checklist to clean up your environment!

Just send it directly to Codex, Doubao, or workbuddy to check.

I also turned it into a skill you can invoke directly👇 https://github.com/Pluviobyte/claude-ban-clean…

If you’ve been banned, share what you think caused it. If you’ve been using it reliably, share how you use it.

Come discuss it, everyone—let’s collect everyone’s experiences from across the internet.349252863K

Whether it was local files on my computer, leftover cookies in Chrome, or the official Cloud extension, I uninstalled, reinstalled, and cleaned everything up.

1. How to subscribe to multiple Claude Pro accounts without triggering KYC

Based on my own testing and what I gathered from hundreds of posts, subscribing to Claude through the mobile app is less likely to trigger KYC, so I tried it myself. (If you don’t have iOS, subscribing through Google Play also works.)

I subscribed to Claude through the App Store, and I’ll write out the account creation process for everyone here as well.

First, we need a Gmail account. Gmail serves two purposes:

  1. Creating a new Apple ID

  2. Registering a Claude account

Many people who register Gmail directly on the website are asked for an SMS verification code and run into all kinds of other verification checks. So just follow the post below. This approach doesn’t require a phone number.

Snow Treading on Dark Clouds @Pluvio9yte·13h A smooth way to register Gamil without an SMS verification code

Many people who register Gmail directly on the website are asked for an SMS verification code and run into all sorts of checks involving phone numbers, addresses, and copying email addresses.

Here’s a tip:

  1. Download the Gmail mobile app
  2. Tap your profile picture in the Gmail mobile app
  3. Tap “Add another account”
  4. Tap “Create account” Register Gmail this way Show more564129248K

Then use this new Gmail account to register a new US-region Apple ID. I didn’t look up a tutorial here; I just had Codex find the registration page for me and then registered.

When registering an Apple ID, you may occasionally encounter a message saying, “This email address can’t be used to register.” Just tell Codex, “Help me contact customer support to resolve the issue preventing this email address from being used to register.”

Now we have a Google account, a US-region Apple ID associated with that Gmail address, and a Claude account associated with that Google account.

2. How to subscribe to multiple Claude Pro accounts without triggering KYC

Pro accounts face much less stringent risk screening than Max accounts, so subscribing to Pro through the mobile app generally won’t trigger KYC. We need to buy gift card credit for each Apple ID.

I didn’t spend much time on this part. I bought two $20 gift card credits on Xianyu, redeemed them in the Apple Store, then logged into the corresponding Claude accounts and subscribed to Pro directly. I didn’t spend any time building up account history here; I subscribed to Pro right after registering.

3. How to link multiple Claude Pro accounts together

Since I had made sure the computer environment I cleaned up earlier was clean, I simply logged into the two Claude accounts separately on my computer and then imported them into Magpie.

Magpie is very powerful. I only used its multi-account rotation feature here; you can explore the other features yourselves.

Open-source repository: https://github.com/yetone/magpie

The specific steps are to open Providers, double-click Claude Code, choose to add another Claude account, and then log in directly.

I logged into two accounts this way and have been switching between them without either being banned.

That’s my entire subscription setup this time.

Of course, this approach has one drawback: if you install the browser extension, the account logged into the Claude extension in Chrome must match the account logged into Claude Code. Otherwise, Claude Code won’t be able to connect to Chrome.

Finally, here’s a link to a Telegram discussion group: https://t.me/+F_CYdumWZ5M4OWU0

And if you really can’t resolve the account bans, there are other ways to access Claude. Let me also give my own API relay service a plug: Dragoncode.codes. It charges by usage, so if you can’t get things working, you can use it as a temporary fallback.

The author noticed that many people use Claude through the API at far higher costs than a subscription, and suggests traveling to the US in person to set up a phone number and bank card, enabling batch creation of Claude Max/Codex membership accounts at a much lower cost, while sharing hands-on experience on card setup, payment, and avoiding account bans.
