A year ago today, I cluelessly posted my first tweet.

Today, with nearly 50k followers, I’ve made over 500k+ on Twitter, directly and indirectly.

From junior year to senior year, and next month I’ll be 21.

I achieved my college goal a year ahead of schedule: earning a million before graduation.

This journey has been full of so many firsts: First time making 1000 in a day, first time making 10k in a day, first time making 100k in a week, first time making 100k in a month, then 200k in a month…

The benefits Twitter has brought me are massive！！！！！！ Financially, that includes: earnings from the old horse, brand deals, commissions, communities and consulting, plus clients it brought my way… Non-financial perks: a solid social calling card, making tight friends to collab with, meeting unreachable big shots, and elevating my mindset and network across the board.

No exaggeration: the value it’s brought me exceeds 100 million.

My biggest takeaway this year: so many outcomes really are made, not just dreamed.

1. If you want to make money with self-media, treat it like a business—research what to post, who’ll see it, why they’ll trust you, and why they’ll ultimately pay up.

2. If you want to make money with AI, go grind it out in real business. Don’t just fantasize. Early this year, I ran tons of events with OpenClaw, handling all sorts of gritty AI implementation work for the boss. Stuff like that isn’t fancy or standardized, but you gotta dive in to truly get what clients are missing. You have to start by selling your time at a higher rate, then figure out how to package that experience for others or turn it into a product—that’s the realistic starting point for most folks.

3. I used to be cocky too, looking down on “lowly” ways to make money, scorning those “dumbass” self-media bloggers, thinking they just got lucky. But they’re making bank！！！ We all need this mindset: if someone’s nailing results, it’s worth studying exactly what they did right. The dumber we think they are, the more valuable their playbook—it’s all stuff we’re missing……

4. On self-media, my advice is still: screw whether it’s overseas or domestic, just post boldly, post consistently. Your first one might get zero eyes, and even after a hundred, you might not see cash. But if you’re truly “goal-oriented” and keep tweaking your direction along the way, the opportunities will pile up way more than you expect.

One year left till graduation, definitely pushing toward bigger goals—let’s see what I hit by then.
