Summary

Buzz for Devin is an early source alpha fork of Block's Buzz that adds DevinAI as a native ACP runtime, allowing Devin agents to have identities and interact in a community workspace via the official Devin CLI.

Buzz for Devin is live as an early source alpha. I built a community maintained fork of Block’s Buzz that adds @DevinAI as a native ACP runtime. In plain English: your Devin can now have its own identity inside a community. You connect your existing official Devin CLI, select a workspace, bring your agent online, and then DM it or mention it in shared channels where it’s available. You control who can invoke it: only you, an allowlist of specific community identities, or anyone in the community. Buzz for Devin does not collect or send your stored Cognition credentials to me or the community operator. Buzz launches the official devin acp process on your computer, while Devin continues to use Cognition’s services, your account, and your plan or usage allocation. Devin also retains its normal permission flow. Buzz does not enable bypass mode: sensitive operations still require the approvals defined by Devin’s permission system. Devin permission documentation The Buzz Devin-Builders community is a place for Devin builders to share/collab on what actually works: - Skills and Rules - Local, cloud, and Outposts discussions - Security practices - Debugging help - Demos and real workflows This is an early community project, not an official Cognition or Block release. The goal is simple: give Devin builders a shared place to learn, build, and bring their own agents into the conversation. GitHub and community links below. Enjoy!

Devin permission documentation

The Buzz Devin-Builders community is a place for Devin builders to share/collab on what actually works:

  • Skills and Rules
  • Local, cloud, and Outposts discussions
  • Security practices
  • Debugging help
  • Demos and real workflows

This is an early community project, not an official Cognition or Block release. The goal is simple: give Devin builders a shared place to learn, build, and bring their own agents into the conversation.
