The key design is placing confirmation before production: prompts are saved to files first, the skill shows the exact quantity, parameters, and output for this generation, and only after you review the preview and explicitly approve, it is sent for expensive generation. For AI short dramas: this open-source workflow will soon be indispensable

drama-skills — 10 skills distilled from a studio’s production pipeline, now with over 1,000 stars

Since 2025, they’ve completed thousands of short drama projects, building internal tools with nearly 80,000 lines of code across frontend and backend. As models and requirements evolved rapidly, maintaining everything became unsustainable.

So they abandoned all-in-one graphical tools and distilled their legacy engineering and prompt experience for images and videos into skills readable by agents.

From a single idea or a full-length story, the entire process flows into episode scripts, character profiles, storyboards, image prompts, and video prompts. Each episode only requires maintaining five Markdown files, with seamless ownership and continuity.

The most crucial design is placing confirmation before production: prompts are first saved to files, and the skill displays the exact quantity, parameters, and outputs to be generated. Only after you review the preview and give explicit approval does it proceed to the expensive generation.

Compatible with Claude Code and Codex, released under the MIT license.
