Anyone who’s had Claude Code draw SVG architecture diagrams has probably been tormented by “crooked lines, text overflow, and garbled Chinese characters.”
The svg-diagram Agent Skill simply adds a set of SVG drawing standards for AI:
① Box height calculated based on font size, with clear rules for line and arrow positions ② Built-in zero-dependency checker that directly inspects the final SVG, covering 12 issues like fonts, whitespace, overlaps, and escaping ③ When issues are found, it tells you exactly what’s wrong, like insufficient margins or element overflow ④ Can be integrated into Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, and other Agents with a single command ⑤ Even calculates text width for Chinese labels in advance to reduce layout blowups It even includes text baseline calculations in the rules.
Essentially, it adds a layer of “automatic acceptance testing” to AI-generated SVGs, sparing you some of the pain of manually fixing diagrams after generation. 🔗
