Same shopping mall. Same prompts.
Muse Spark 1.2
→ 6m 08s → 30.3K output tokens → $0.135 → 1,289 lines → 2,969 draw calls/frame
Claude Opus 5
→ 35m 37s → 172.4K output tokens → $4.345 → 2,461 lines → 554 draw calls/frame
Kimi K3
→ 76m 56s → 134.6K output tokens → $2.021 → 1,754 lines → 221 draw calls/frame
The headline is ridiculous:
Muse was ~32× cheaper and ~6× faster than Opus.
But there’s a catch.
Muse was the cheapest model to generate and the most expensive model to render. Nearly 3,000 draw calls per frame eventually became the bottleneck.
Kimi went the opposite direction. It spent 106K reasoning tokens across the two scenes and took almost 77 minutes, but its final code was the only one that needed zero manual fixes.
And Opus had the strangest lighting behavior. The daytime scene needed a manual lighting fix, while its night scene came out correctly without intervention. https://x.com/thehypedotnews/status/2091860654554595786/video/1…
