app-distribution

Google plans to exempt developers in sanctioned nations from its Android developer verification process, meaning their apps will only be easily installable in those countries, while the rest of the world gets a more restricted app distribution system. The change is part of Google's effort to combat scam apps, but it ties app distribution to US sanctions policy.
