I feel like the latter is gradually becoming mainstream, and MCP doesn't seem to have any advantages, except for an auto-updating tool discovery mechanism that SKILL doesn't have.

@9hills: Let me share my experience. Python works fine for building Agents because the performance bottleneck is the model. However, using Python for TUI is a very poor choice. The TUI of a Coding Agent has high performance requirements.
