Fable 5.1 looks genuinely impressive on the benchmarks, especially agentic research and coding, but this still feels like an incremental step rather than a paradigm shift.
I’m much more curious about OpenAI’s Astra. If it really can run indefinitely with something close to persistent memory, that’s a far bigger deal than another benchmark bump.
