Voice control will not be the primary input modality for the foreseeable because - it’s v slow for simple/frequent actions like window nav, app switching & scrolling - it’s public by default, important bc a) many semi-sensitive conversations happen over slack in offices & b) I don’t want my colleagues to hear my dumb questions or realise how late I started working on that thing they were expecting - you can’t multitask while in a meeting or chatting casually with colleagues - call centres are not nice places to work, especially if you need to concentrate or think hard sometimes
