Earned 1k+ Selling GPT on Xianyu in Two Days
This is the first time I’ve successfully closed the full loop of a small business operation.

Recently, I’ve been testing a GPT subscription recharge service on Xianyu.
Yesterday, it suddenly took off—earning over 1,000 yuan in two days and attracting more than 100 users with genuine needs.

The amount isn’t huge, but this was my first intuitive experience running through the entire process of a small business: from supply to customer acquisition, transaction, delivery, and repeat purchases.

I want to do a quick review.

It started simply. First, I secured a stable supply channel from @Leobai825 Cege.
Then, I listed the service on Xianyu.
As for why I chose Xianyu—well, everyone knows it’s China’s biggest “dark web,” teeming with customers who have needs to be met.

So, the key is to find where demand already exists and then provide the corresponding service.

The whole process is straightforward:
Secure stable supply → Test the product and messaging → Handle inquiries → Complete transactions → Deliver → Provide after-sales support → Retain users for repeat business.

So far, I’ve imported over 100 real users into my private domain.
OS: Even if I stop selling on Xianyu later, the repeat purchases from these 100+ users might be enough to cover my monthly AI subscription fees. Haha.

This was also a big takeaway for me this time.

A single transaction earns you money for the moment.
But a real user brings long-term demand, feedback, and repeat purchases.

I won’t think that I should go full-time into this recharge business just because I earned 1k+ in two days.
This closed loop felt more like a zero-cost business training ground—letting me get hands-on experience with pricing, customer acquisition, transactions, delivery, after-sales, and repeat business.

It also answered a question I’d been wrestling with for a while:

Do I have to find a track that’s both long-term and immediately profitable?
The answer, clearly, is no.

Earning over 1,000 yuan in two days might not be a big business, but it matters to me. It was a real business closed loop.
Going forward, I’ll likely continue running this for a while—not for how much money I make,
but to see if I can uncover even more long-term needs from these real users.
