Key Responsibilities
- Participate in designing the technical architecture and technology selection for DeepSeek’s Harness product.
- Participate in developing DeepSeek’s Harness product.
- Work closely with researchers to jointly define and implement cutting-edge innovations in the Harness domain.
- Communicate and collaborate deeply with engineers and researchers on the model training team, participating in the co-evolution of models and Harness, achieving deep adaptation between DeepSeek’s Harness and its models from the Harness perspective.
- Use internal real-world tasks as key feedback sources for Harness product capabilities and model-related training, iterating product capabilities continuously.
- Understand and analyze user feedback collected by the team. Assist in maintaining the Harness product user community when interested and capable.
- Assist with project management-related tasks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience, with strong technical skills and a broad technical perspective. Exceptional candidates may have their years of experience requirement relaxed.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proficient in using AI Agent tools for software development. Strong learning ability in the software development domain. Capable of quality-assured programming in unfamiliar areas (e.g., languages, technologies, frameworks) with AI assistance.
- Heavy user of Agent products, with great enthusiasm for Agent Harness development, refined taste and judgment regarding model behavior, and strong perception of developer experience. Extensively used code-oriented and general-purpose Agent products, integrating them into daily work and life.
- Familiar with the basic mechanisms and technical principles of LLMs and Agents, including LLM API, KV Cache, Agent Loop, Tool Use, Reasoning, Planning, Skills, MCP, Memory, Subagent, Multi-Agent, etc. In-depth understanding of topics such as Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, and Harness Engineering.
- Good communication skills in Chinese.
