Is it just me or is building AI agents harder than people make it look?

作者分享了实际构建 AI 代理的经验,指出真实落地远比线上演示复杂:集成现有软件、处理杂乱数据、维护成本和人工复核才是主要难点,并建议从小任务逐步自动化。

I have been working with ai agents, and honestly building them is very different from what you see in online demos. The ai itself is not the biggest problem getting it to work with existing software messy data and real business processes is where things get complicated. Even a small mistake can cause issues so having a human check things is still important. I have also learned that trying to automate everything at once usually does not work well. It is better to start with one simple task, see how it goes and build from there. There is also the cost and ongoing maintenance to think about which people do not always mention. For those actually building or using ai agents has your experience been similar?
