Summary

The author expresses frustration over the Indian government's ban on Telegram, which disrupts their entire workflow including AI tools, trading, and personal communication, questioning the rationale and highlighting the fragility of digital dependence.

They banned Telegram. And honestly, this makes no sense to me. My whole workflow is on Telegram. I use openclaw on telegram. I use openclaw for handling my team. I use AI tools through Telegram. I use AI agents through Telegram. A lot of my chatbots are connected to Telegram. My tradding setup is connected to Telegram. My crpto tradding alerts are on Telegram. My arbiitrage setup is on Telegram. My friends are on Telegram. My family is on Telegram. So when Telegram gets blocked, it doesn't just affect some random channel. It directly affects my communication, my work, and even my personal finannces. What I don't understand is this: If the reason is NEET paper leaks, then why only Telegram? People can share information on WhatsApp. People can share information on Instagram. People can share information on X. People can share information on YouTube. People can share information through email, Discord, and dozens of other platforms. If the logic is "people can share leaks on Telegram," then that same logic applies to almost every communication platform on the internet. So why Telegram specifically? And the bigger issue for me is realizing how easily a platform that millions of people depend on can suddenly become unavailable. Today it's Telegram. Tomorrow it could be something else. This whole situation made me realize how much power governments and large institutions have over communication platforms and digital services that people rely on every day. I genuinely think people need more alternatives, more decentralization, and more freedom when it comes to communication and internet access. Because when one decision can suddenly disconnect millions of legitimate users who have absolutely nothing to do with the problem, something about that approach feels wrong. That's my problem with this ban.
