That’s movie-level weird.
The girl is walking this robot dog on a leash at the AI for Good Summit in Geneva. Its a real personal humanoid robot.
This can move from four legs to resembling a person.
It can walk and climb, but it also seems able to follow you around and help you, like a drone.
Since all the home robots are one body, many of them get stuck on stairs and slopes. The T1 avoids this by being able to fold from a standing figure into a low, four-legged shape.
It can climb up and down 18 centimeter steps and 35 degree slopes both inside and outside in dog mode.
In human mode, it quietly follows your movements, standing by your side like a friend. So now one machine can do both smooth and rough surfaces, and the odd space in between.
The PrimeBOT calls it the T1 . You can add your own behaviors on top of it to make it a robot .
Height 80 cm. It will fit in a back pack. Not for the laboratory or the factory, but for personal use.
